⚠️ Important Rules for Community Service Credit
The activity must be performed after you choose to complete it
for community service.
Past activities, old photographs, old videos, or work that you
previously performed cannot be submitted for new community service credit.
Only report the time you actually spent performing the service
activity. Travel time, shopping for supplies, breaks, unrelated
activities, and time spent completing the submission form may not
qualify as community service time unless specifically stated otherwise.
Photos, videos, written answers, timestamps, and other information
may be reviewed to determine whether an activity was completed and
how much time should be approved.
Submitting false information, reused evidence, staged evidence,
altered evidence, or claiming work you did not personally perform
may result in rejection of the activity, loss of eligibility for
additional projects, suspension, or termination from the program.
🛡️ Safety, Privacy & Photo/Video Rules
Your Safety Comes First
Never perform an activity that appears unsafe.
Do not trespass, enter traffic, handle needles,
broken glass, chemicals, weapons, hazardous material,
human waste, or other potentially dangerous objects.
Do not perform work requiring special training,
licensing, protective equipment, or authorization
unless you are appropriately qualified and permitted.
Protect Other People's Privacy
You generally do not need to photograph the person you are
helping. Focus your evidence on yourself, the activity,
and the work performed.
Do not intentionally photograph or record identifiable
people without their permission. Avoid showing private
addresses, license plates, account information, school
records, medical information, passwords, or other
sensitive personal information.
For participants under 18:
